I've been stitching most of the nights away after my son goes to bed while my husband winds down from the day by playing Runescape. Making these have been such a fun and learning experience. And they're so dang cute ♥

Found out the hard way that the hook for me when using Parfait XL is 9 mm. I went down to 8 mm and hated every step in the process. The yarn and hook were both squeaky and I was just fighting with my project. But that's why I do these tests so I know lol.

I was so excited and decided to take a photo of the bee that I'm making right beside the loaf cat. Adding a round of increase was such a huge size difference that it made me feel uncertain if this was what I was really aiming for in this project.  But after attaching the eyes and doing the embroidery on the face of the bee, it was so cute that I want to finish it and see the final results. So, so happy with how this turned out!

There's something incredibly exciting and also, nerve-wracking when trying out a pattern for the first time. But, thankfully, I found a wonderful designer! Her pattern is full of details to make sure the project is a success. ♥
