I captured most of this project on a video (which is available on my socials), however, I have here some photos from this dye session.

Highlighting this vibrant shade, which was all the way to the left.
Back at it again with the mini skeins and many, different shades and colors! More color samples are always a plus, and yes, more décor to brighten up the studio.
For this batch, I used a different brand of acid dye and yarn weight. Compared to the first batch, I am experimenting with worsted/Aran weight yarns.
I wound two skeins of yarn, which yielded a total of 21 mini skeins, with enough leftover for a natural color reference.
Similar to the first batch, I dyed these skeins using the glass jars - but this time, I used the microwave as my heat source, which worked fast and easy. I did 1-minute increments to not overheat the yarn.
You don't exactly know what color or shade you are getting until you apply the dye onto the fibers. And the dyes I used were just some colors that I figured I would give a try because they were on sale. And my goodness, these turned out so much better than expected.

Worsted/Aran weight yarns give these yarns a textured, tonal finish.
I don't exactly know what I was thinking when I was picking out these colors, but my past self definitely made good decisions!
I forgot that I have these laser-cut tags and had a bit of fun with them in including them in these photos.

With the large tag.

With the smallest tag in the set. This is now the TFA header photo in a lot of places.
