I wanted to make a colorway that is reminiscent of a dimly-lit Christmas tree, where certain areas are bright, and some shadowed - and this is the result!
I do appreciate variations between the different colors, especially in between Winter Spruce, and the shadow areas.
These are the parts where the colors just dance around each other some blended out, and some vivid color transitions.

I found the inspiration photo for this colorway when I was scrolling down through memory lane in my camera roll.

Lucy the Bear
Lucy the bear, is a vintage keepsake that we put under the tree every year. I found that I took a photo of her sitting underneath the Christmas tree and kind of had her pose to look at the camera.
I could hardly find this kind of decoration anymore, and whenever I do, most of the time, it’s not within my budget lol.
Naming this colorway was quite a challenge. I wanted something to encapsulate the feeling of looking at this photo as well as the spirit of Christmas.

The biblical passage that inspired the name 'Evergreen Wishes' is in the book of Hosea, chapter 14 verse 8 - wherein God's unending nature is compared to an evergreen cypress. Where He dwells, there is life, where there is life, there is hope.
"O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress;from me comes your fruit." Hosea 14:8
