For Labor Day this year, we didn't do anything much aside from stay at home and sit in front of our computers for extended periods of time.
One thing that my husband and I agreed on was that we are not going to be able to set aside this much time to just relax and bond with each other through our mutual hobby - video games, once we have our newborn with us.
Our game of choice for the day was Baldur's Gate 3, where we ended up making new characters and starting all over again. Granted, my husband was not so enthusiastic about the whole process (we have been starting over a number of times but we never got to finish a playthrough of the game).
To spice it up a little bit, we are currently playing on the tactician level difficulty, which was on a completely different level than the usual balanced difficulty that we used to play.
All in all, I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity and appreciate the respite very much from the day-to-day.
